Churches are realizing that there is a need to integrate technology into their ministry. Maybe the church has already started the process; adding a sound system to the sanctuary or youth center, starting the process of upgrading from tower PC systems to mobile laptops. It could be a desire to upgrade existing gear, replacing a wired network with a flexible, secure wireless system that visitors and staff alike can make use of. Upgrading the existing sound system is necessary to accommodate a growing worship team, or it could even be that the church is really starting from scratch, and needs some advice on how to plan and prioritize new purchases. The realities are typically a staff that’s stretched to limits, budgets that are stretched to the same degree, a volunteer team that wants to grow the ministry but may not know how, and often a combination of all three.
I want to help.
After a 20-year career in management I felt led to start a company whose mission is to help with the variety of technical challenges that face churches. These challenges, once overcome, can help a church grow in their mission in connecting people with Jesus Christ. But, if not addressed correctly, can become a burden on both finances and personnel and ultimately become a distraction.
